With x-ray absorption spectroscopy we investigated the orbital reconstruction and the induced ferromagnetic moment of the interfacial Cu atoms in YBa2Cu3O7/La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 (YBCO/LCMO) and La2−xSrxCuO4/La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 (LSCO/LCMO) multilayers.
