Journal du Valais
The first issue of Journal du Valais was published on Wednesday February 16th 1848, taking over from the Obervateur with the goal to discuss and spread liberal ideas. It was published twice a week over four pages and made public education one of its priorities. Publication ceased on December 30th 1848 after 92 issues.Newspaper's Archives Website
