The multilingual CSIS-Papers series presents research results and practice-oriented projects of the Swiss Center for Islam and Society (CSIS) at the University of Fribourg in a concise and generally understandable form. Emphasis is placed on the social fields of action that influence living together in Switzerland, as well as on issues of Islamic self-reflection. The CSIS-papers contain recommendations and reading tips for actors in academia, politics and society.
