    Summary
    This study shows that artemether/lumefantrine provides a rapid clinical response against both Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax clinical malaria, but is associated with a high rate of P. vivax recurrent clinical episodes due to relapsing infections from long-lasting hypnozoites
