    Summary
    FL patients younger than 40 have a median OS of 24 years and their outcome improved over time. However, they still have a significantly shorter life expectancy when compared with that of an age-matched general healthy population. FL in young adults, differently from paediatric FL, does not seem to represent a distinct entity
