    Summary
    The Xpert MTB/RIF assay is a quick and accurate tuberculosis diagnostic tool in children. Compared with microscopy, 3-fold more tuberculosis cases were detected with a similar turnaround time, resulting in a potentially shortened time to tuberculosis diagnosis
