A numerical analysis of dimensionality and heterogeneity effects on advective dispersive seawater intrusion processes

Two-dimensional (2D) and 3D numerical simulations of the dispersive Henry problem show that heterogeneity affects seawater intrusion differently in 2D and 3D.
