Fribourg illustré

Fribourg illustré
"Fribourg illustré" was initially, and for the first two issues, published under the name of "Fribourg-revue", in December 1945, and outlined itself as:

Above all, Fribourg-revue [...] aims at offering you a good time. [...] The magazine will illustrate local and regional life, mainly by pictures. Every month, it will convey to you the illustrated echo of what’s going on in our town and region: public life, associative life and thousands of apparently irrelevant facts, which yet account for our daily lives, will be featured.

The magazine commits itself to being independent, not amenable to any economical, political or confessional interests, and hence any partisan ideology.

The "Arcade": printing house stopped publishing the magazine in 2002.
